Tell us a little bit about your illustration:
My illustration depicts the American artist Georgia O’Keeffe, who was well known for her paintings of flowers and landscapes. She was one of the most significant artists of the 20th century and a pioneer of her time. O’Keeffe is recognized by many as the ‘Mother of American Modernism’. Here she stands in her home and studio against the backdrop of a New Mexico landscape, a place that was close to her heart and featured heavily in many of her own works of art.
